Parmesan Rice

cup white rice

tbsp butter
|

cup water
|
|

tsp old bay seasoning
|

cup grated parmesan cheese
|
|

tsp salt (if desired)
|
Melt butter in a medium sauce pan over medium high heat (careful not to burn butter). Add rice and cook and stir until rice is coated with butter. Add water, old bay seasoning and salt (if desired). Bring water to a boil, cover the pot and reduce heat to low to simmer. Cook covered for 20 minutes, or until rice is cooked through. Fluff rice with a fork, add parmesan cheese and stir to incorporate. Serve.
