Prep Time : 20 minutes
Cook Time : 30 minutes
Serves 25
Ingredients
4 cup flour
2 cup brown sugar (packed)
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup butter
2 cup peanut butter (crunchy or creamy)
1 1/2 cup chocolate chips
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Combine butter and brown sugar in a mixing bowl. Using an electric mixer beat butter and sugar for 4 minutes on medium speed.

Add baking soda, vanilla and eggs, 1 at a time, scraping the bottom of the bowl as you go. When the mixture is well combined begin to add flour 1/2 a cup at a time until all flour is incorporated. (if your mixer can not handle all 4 cups of flour, mix in the remaining flour by hand)

Press mixture into the bottom of a well greased 9x13 inch class baking dish.

Bake for 25 minutes. Remove from oven. Gently spoon peanut butter onto crust. Spread peanut butter evenly across the entire crust. Sprinkle evenly with chocolate chips.

Return dish to the oven and bake for an additional 3-5 minutes until chocolate chips begin to melt. Remove from oven and use a spoon to gently swirl together the melted chocolate chips and peanut butter.

Cool completely and then cut into bars. Makes 25 bars.
