Chunky Fresh Tomato Basil Sauce

The fastest and simplest way to make fresh tomato sauce
Prep Time : 10 minutes
Cook Time : 5 minutes
Serves 4
Ingredients
4 cup tomatoes chopped (about 3 large tomatoes)
3 tbsp fresh basil leaves chopped
1 tbsp canola oil
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1/2 cup parmesan reggiano cheese freshly grated
salt and pepper (to taste)
Directions
Heat canola oil in a large fry pan over high heat. When pan is very hot add tomatoes and basil all at once. Let tomatoes sit in pan for 1-2 minutes without stirring. Add olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper. Cook and stir for 2-3 minutes. Stir in 1/2 of the parmesan cheese. Save remaining parmesan cheese to sprinkle over top of pasta. Serve immediately over your favorite pasta.
