Steak Fajitas

This recipe can also be used with chicken breasts in place of the steak.

Serves 4
Ingredients
1 1/2 lb skirt steak
1 cup salsa
1/4 cup canola oil
1 tsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
12 flour tortillas (7-8 inch)
1 cup sour cream (if desired)
1 cup cheddar cheese , shredded (if desired)
Directions
Pound steak with meat mallet to tenderize. Combine meat, salsa, oil, lemon juice, pepper, garlic powder and salt in a zip top plastic bag. Allow to marinate in the refrigerator for 8-24 hours, turning occassionaly. Drain meat, discard leftover marinade.

Grill meat for 5-6 minutes on each side, or to desired degree of doneness. Remove from grill; slice into strips. Place meat on tortillas, top with sour cream and cheese if desired.
