Green Bean Salad

cup fresh green beans tips cut off
|

garlic clove thinly sliced
|
|

tsp white wine vinegar
|
|

tbsp light olive oil
|

tsp white pepper
|
Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add trimmed green beans. Boil for 3 minutes, or until beans are crisp tender. Drain and rinse under cold water.
Meanwhile, Heat a small saute pan over medium low heat. Add olive oil. Add garlic and cook and stir until garlic is lightly golden.
Remove pan from heat, add vinegar and white pepper. Pour over green beans, toss to coat.
