Chicken Cooked in Wine

Sauteed chicken, mushrooms and onions simmered in wine with a dash of nutmeg.
Prep Time : 15 minutes
Cook Time : 45 minutes
Serves 4
Ingredients
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts 4 pieces, pound to 1/2 " thickness
salt (dash)
pepper (dash)
nutmeg (dash)
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 cup dry white wine
1 tsp corn starch
1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast 4 pieces, pound to 1/2 " thickness
8 oz mushrooms cleaned and cut in quarters
1/2 cup onions chopped
Directions
1. Pound cleaned chicken breasts to 1/2" thickness, season with salt, pepper and nutmeg

2. Saute chicken in 2 T. of unsalted butter until lightly browned

3. Add 1/2 of chopped onions, 8 oz. of fresh mushrooms quarters, and 3/4 cup of wine.

4. Simmer for about 45 min. or until tender.

5. Mix 2 tsp. of cornstarch and remaining wine, add to liquid in pan. Stir over low heat until slighly thickened.

6. Serve over rice or noodles
